asleepinplanes is the moniker of Orlando-based musician, songwriter, engineer and producer, James Reid. Musically, asleepinplanes is indietronica: think dreamy, melodic and sometimes volatile guitars & other organic elements mixed with electronic sensibilities, topped with James’ signature smooth yet reaching vocal. It’s nostalgic but fresh. Old but new. In each song, though, the intent is to always be a songwriter first and convey whatever emotions the music inspires.

James is also the co-owner of Bynx & Bynx Records. James is the studio’s primary engineer & producer.
